# Telecom Department has removed network operation and control center charges for all licence holder

**Department of Telecom** has banned network [operation](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/33917/how-to-callback-operation-using-delegate-in-c-sharp) and [control](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/197/asp-dot-net-repeater-control) centre charges for all telecom licence holders. It has earlier imposed **Rs. 2.1 lakh** per transponder per annum.

Telecom Department (ToD) has removed the network operation and control centre charges for the use of space segments for all types of [services](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13111/distinctions-of-iiot-services-how-its-helps-brands) like VSAT, [satellite](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/302705/decoding-satellite-communication-how-satellites-connect-the-world) telephony, etc. the permits are issued by the department. The agency has levied Rs. 21 lakh per transponder per annum for 36MHZ of the spectrum.

Adding this. Department also levied **Rs. 6,000** for every trial of antenna that is used for receiving and transmitting signals.

Department of Telecom said in a statement “There shall be no NOCC charges for use of space segment for all DoT licensees for commercial and captive VSAT services, GMPCS (satellite phone [service](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/105963/online-thesis-writing-service-for-college-kids-with-disabilities)), **National [Long Distance](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/38567/name-the-long-distance-runner-who-has-been-named-as-the-sports-person-of-the-year-during-the-india-sports-awards-2015) (NLD)**, and some other telecom licensees having unified licence or standalone licence. This order shall be effective from April 1, 2022,” the Department of Telecom said in an order released on May 6.
