According to the **IT rules 2021,** it has released the 10th user safety monthly report. These reports show that the company has actioned some accounts in India through its [prevention](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/167600/how-to-test-for-legionella-and-implement-prevention-plans) and detection method for violating the statutes of WhatsApp and India. The latest WhatsApp monthly report details the information for the period from March 1 to March 30 under **rule 4(1) (d) of the [Information Technology](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/301938/is-information-technology-all-about-coding)** (Intermediary guidelines and [Digital Media](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/93513/what-are-the-new-guidelines-by-the-indian-government-for-digital-media-and-ott-media) Ethics code) Rules, 2021. The report shows the total number of grievances submitted to the social media giant is 597 were sent to WhatsApp and out of them only **112** have a relation to [accounting](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13034/challenges-for-accounting-students) support, out of the 407 were related to banning appeals, 37 grievances were related to product support, only 13 of them were related to safety, and the rest of the grievances request was related to other support. Of the grievances received by **WhatsApp** only 74 of them were actioned and all of them belonged to the ban appeal category. WhatsApp says for tackling abuses on the platform “the abuse detection operates at three stages of an account’s lifestyle: at [registration](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/23222/bonuses-of-casino-online-free-and-with-registration), during messaging, and in response to negative feedback, received in the form of user reports and blocks.
