The new platform of the Government, named ONDC will allow buyers and sellers to connect and transact with each other online. The platform’s soft-launching is scheduled for Friday before being expanded, as the trade ministry said to Reuters. The official document of the Indian Government clearly stated the two companies which are controlling India’s more than **50 percent** of the e-commerce market. They are limiting access to the market and the dominant companies are giving preferential [treatment](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/54992/hair-fall-treatment-from-the-experts) to some sellers and squeezing supplier margins. The official statement does not include any name of the company. Amazon and Flipkart, both the market-leading **e-commerce** companies have denied any comment on **India’s ONDC platform.** **ONDC platform** has a future vision as it planned to onboard **30 million sellers** and **10 million merchants** online.
