As per the first quarter report of shipping PCs, globally shipping of PCs declined by **5.1 percent** during the Q1 quarter of 2022, revealed by **[International](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/85496/celebration-of-international-chocolate-day) Data Corporation** (IDC). After managing the obstacles, still managed to ship **80.5 million** PCs during the time. The shipping percentage may indeed be less than the previous quarter but it still managed to cross 80 million which was not seen since 2012. This quarterly, **Asus** and **Acer** secured the fifth position in terms of shipping of PCs with **6.9** and **6.8** percent market shares respectively.
