After some time both the accounts of Uttar Pradesh’s official government and the state Information Department Twitter Handle were restored by the technology department. The Famous Twitter handle of the UP government was hacked for more than 10 minutes under the name of (**[@UPGovt](https://up.gov.in/)**) which has around 2.7 million followers, told to senior officials. A Twitter handle of the government operated by the Information Department **@InfoUPFactCheck** was also hacked. The account was followed by 24,000 followers.
