Today in the parliament, ongoing **[budget session](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/83047/indian-budget-of-2022-2023-is-in-the-hands-of-nirmala-sitharaman)**, the central minister for the state of communication **Devusinh Chauhan** told that soon the availability of 4G service will be given to the users. Minister Chauhan said the statement “The 4G service on BSNL will start very soon, almost by the [end of the year](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/92965/which-corona-vaccines-can-be-made-by-the-end-of-the-year),” the [minister said](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/99055/which-bihar-minister-said-ramcharitmanas-spreads-hatred-in-society) while responding to a question of the **Uttar Pradesh MP Kunwar Rewati Raman Singh** during the **Question Hour**. The minister has not given any information about the exact timing of the starting of the 4G services in the country but said our [government](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/276/performance-of-government-in-the-center) is working hard to avail the services for our users. If we talk about the BSNL, it is struggling to compete with the other private telecom network providers in the country. The government Network Providing Company BSNL is working with Telcos to provide the [network services](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/102603/can-you-describe-the-features-of-google-s-project-fi-for-mobile-network-services) and the Telcom in 2019 is expected to complete its 4G rollout in 2020. Including this Telcos has sought to complete many targets within a limited time but the D3epartment of telecommunications has canceled the 4G tender for BSNL in 2020. Chauhan told the BSNL is not able to satisfy its users and not even able to fulfill the debts and losses the company is dealing with. As per the ministry, the loss for the company has reduced and declined to Rs 7,441 crore in 2020-21 from Rs 15,500 crore in 2019-20.
