# Activision Company Harassment case is facing a comprehensive inquiry

#### Activision, a giant gaming company is facing a lawsuit launched by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) for sexual harassment, a toxic work environment, and inequality.

The Agency talked with the company for suitable [compensation](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/343/son-martyr-in-2000-still-waiting-for-the-compensation) and asked **about $18 million (Rs 135 crore).**

Activision harassment case is now expanded more, as per the newspaper and media reports the [investigation](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2149/twitter-claims-in-court-that-elon-musk-is-the-subject-of-government-investigations) over the harassment charges against the Activision Blizzard Company now has more expansion view.

A lawsuit was launched last summer by the **California Department of Fair [Employment](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/23317/exactly-how-to-use-whatsapp-for-pupil-employment) and Housing (DFEH)**. The lawsuit alleging the Company condoned a culture of [sexual harassment](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97975/what-is-sexual-harassment-of-women-at-workplace-prevention-prohibition-and-redressal-act), a toxic work [environment](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/308/need-to-create-a-supportive-work-environment-for-women), and inequality.

The agency DFEH has requested the court to have access to any [complaint against](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/39605/how-can-i-file-a-complaint-against-the-tamil-nadu-police) or investigation into 19 Activision Employees with its **CEO Bobby Kotick.**

The agency also requested the court to increase its access [jurisdiction](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94222/advisory-jurisdiction-is-exercised-by) regarding complaints filed at **Activision’s BlizzCon [convention](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/145551/what-is-naming-convention-and-its-types)** from 2015 to 2019. It also asked in its request to have access to the offices at its subsidiary Blizzard, especially in the city Irvine and **Activision in Santa Monica since June 2021.**

No document has shown an individual named in the list which was requested by DFEH to the court but they have said about the Activision Chief Executive and Former Chief Executive are on the list.

An Activision spokesperson said about the DFEH request as it has “no legitimate purpose” nothing contains “Sensitive, secret information with no limits or relative scope.”

When the spokesperson said the agency’s requests as they are “another questionable tactic in DFEH’s broader effect to derail,” the company Activision is making a settlement with a federal agency.

The negotiation between Activision and the agency is fixed for $18 million (roughly 135 crores) as a compensation fund for the harassment victims.
