# In sql server 2005, how do I change the “schema” of a table without losing any data?

Hi All!\
\
\
I have a [table](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/43918/how-to-design-table-using-bootstrap) that got into the "db_owner" [schema](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/1844/how-schema-markup-useful-in-serp), and I need it in the "dbo" schema.\
\
Is there a [script](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/477/how-can-i-execute-a-php-script-using-command-line) or [command](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/178/synchronous-and-asynchronous-command-execution-in-c-sharp-dot-net) to run to [switch](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/104495/switch-bringing-new-advancements-in-the-education-management-system) it over?\
\
Thanks in [advance](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/33258/jee-mains-and-jee-advance-exams)!

Hi Pravesh!\
In SQL Server Management Studio:\
Right click the table and select modify (it's called "Design" now)On the properties panel choose the correct owning schema.
