# Copy Data from one Table to another

[Copy](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/161993/explain-the-numpy-array-copy-vs-view-with-example) all [records](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/34640/how-to-create-a-stored-procedure-for-display-all-records) [data](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13050/salesforce-aiming-to-dominate-predictive-analytics-with-data-science) from Table1 into Table2 matching on the ID.\
Don't know how to write the [query](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/202/sub-query-in-sqlserver) to make this happen. Can [anyone](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/23207/how-to-find-the-best-fit-job-for-anyone) help?\

UPDATE Table1

SET Table1.ID = Table2.ID

FROM Table1

INNER

JOIN Table2

ON Table2.ID = Table1.ID
