# Nokia lures in developers with new tie-ups!

Nokia has announced that they have partnered with Vodafone India and Airtel (and Reliance last year) to offer [integrated](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/33532/handler-pagehandlerfactory-integrated-has-a-bad-module-managedpipelinehandler-in-its-module-list) billing [solutions](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12807/product-searching-issues-and-solutions-for-ecommerce-store-advanced-search-autocomplete-suggest) on the Nokia Store in India. This would let users download local and global paid content from the Nokia Store and pay for their downloads as part of their monthly [mobile phone](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/95862/mobile-phone-technology-has-revolutionized-the-marketing-industry) bills or have the amount deducted from the pre-paid balance.\

The company is now moving more and more towards [developer](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/157260/variation-between-web-designer-and-web-developer) appeasement to [encourage](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/11812/4-ways-to-encourage-friendships-at-work) [content creation](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12536/humanizing-your-brand-through-content-creation) for the store by offering 70% of the end user price straight to the developer[LINK] **http://www.earnwithappsnow.com/?pcode=112&src=11&act=1">http://www.earnwithappsnow.com/?pcode=112&src=11&act=1**\
This has also presented itself as a great [opportunity](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12836/flexibility-and-opportunity-making-the-gig-economy-work-for-you) for [developers](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12875/blunders-you-must-avoid-while-hiring-java-developers-to-get-the-best-fulfilling-your-needs) to ‘monetize their apps’ since their [App store](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2221/apple-s-new-ad-tax-on-the-app-store-is-a-clear-jab-at-meta) clocks 13 million download requests per day globally, from just 3 million downloads a year ago. Nokia Store India currently sees more than 60 million downloads a month. Along with the In-app purchase which is already available in the Nokia Store, now operator billing on more Indian carriers would help to accelerate [monetization](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/87546/what-is-youtube-monetization-when-how-and-how-much-you-get) and offer a good opportunity to mobile developers to create and start earning on local apps and content.
