When logging into SQL [Server](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/43769/what-is-serverless-architecture-is-it-worth-switching-over) and entered invalid credentials than The message Login Failed for User ([Microsoft](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12301/microsoft-is-trying-to-kill-passwords) SQL Server, Error: 18456) occurred .

Administrative permissions to connect to the server not for Microsoft SQL Server Management with a user.

follow these steps to fix your problem:

1-Right click on the server and click Properties follows

2-Go to the Security page which you want to access

3-Under Server authentication choose the SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode radio button for select your choice .

4-Click OK choice of message shown in window

5-Restart SQL Services and wait to fix your problems.
