# Can I move useful conversation context between AI assistants?

I use ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, and DeepSeek for different things, and some of my conversations turn into useful project notes. Is there a practical way to transfer that conversation history between assistants without losing the important context?

I’m not looking to copy every old chat verbatim. I’m more interested in whether people have a reliable workflow for carrying over things like project background, preferences, and decisions—and which parts still need to be explained again to the new assistant.
