# Can Grok answer follow-up questions about an uploaded PDF?

If I upload a PDF to a Grok conversation and ask for a summary, can I then ask detailed follow-up questions about particular sections without uploading it again? I’m interested in whether it can refer back to the document throughout the same chat, especially when I ask it to compare two passages or find a detail I missed.
