# When Claude searches the web, how can I tell which claims come from its sources?

I’ve been trying Claude’s web search for questions where the answer needs current information. It may include links, but I’m not always sure whether a particular sentence is directly supported by one of those pages or is Claude’s own summary across several sources.

Is there a reliable way to trace individual claims back to the source material, especially when the answer combines multiple pages? I’m interested in how others check source attribution before reusing an answer.
