# Does Perplexity keep its citations clickable when I export an answer to Markdown?

I use Perplexity to collect sources while researching, then move the answer into Markdown notes. I’m wondering whether there’s an export or copy workflow that preserves the citations as clickable links, rather than leaving citation markers that no longer point to anything.

If you’ve found a reliable method, does it preserve the source titles and links cleanly in common note-taking apps?
