# How can I get Perplexity to prioritize sources from a specific country?

For questions that depend on local information—say, UK energy prices or Canadian product availability—I want Perplexity to favor sources from that country, not just pages that happen to mention it. Is there a region or location control for this, or do you have to make the preference explicit in every prompt?

I’d like to hear what works for **country-specific sources** without narrowing the search so much that useful reporting or official data gets missed.
