# Can Grok limit web searches to specific sites or a date range?

I’m using Grok to check fast-moving topics, and broad web results can mix current reporting with older pages that happen to rank well. For some questions, I only want results from a couple of trusted sites or pages published within a particular [date range](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/1687/how-to-select-data-from-date-range-between-two-dates-using-sql).

Is there a reliable way to give Grok those **search constraints**, either in the prompt or through a built-in setting? I’d also like to know whether it makes the limits clear when it cannot find enough matching pages.
