# How well does Grok handle a language switch during voice chat?

Has anyone tried [switching languages](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/162390/how-well-does-grok-handle-switching-languages-during-a-voice-conversation) halfway through a [Grok voice conversation](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/162437/can-grok-voice-conversations-keep-going-when-i-switch-apps)? I’m wondering whether it follows the new language naturally, or keeps replying in the language used at the start.

A related wrinkle: if someone mixes two languages in one sentence, does the spoken response follow that mix or settle on one? Real examples would be more useful than a clean demo with one language at a time.
