# Can Grok search across several uploaded PDFs in one question?

I’m considering using Grok to review a small bundle of PDF reports, then ask questions that require comparing details across them. Does it search the text across all uploaded files together, or should I expect it to treat each document separately?

I’d also like to know how people handle **multiple PDF uploads** when the files share similar names or cover overlapping periods. If you’ve tried this, did Grok make it clear which document supported a particular detail?
