# Does Perplexity’s Discover feed learn from my searches or only my selected interests?

I’m trying to understand what shapes the topics Perplexity shows in Discover. Is the feed mainly based on interests I choose, or can it also shift based on the questions I’ve searched for?

I ask because I use Perplexity for a mix of work and personal searches, and I’d rather not have one side of that activity steer the other. If you’ve watched your feed change over time, what seemed to influence it?
