# Does Grok Voice keep the conversation context when I switch to typing?

I sometimes start a question in Grok Voice while I’m away from my keyboard, then type a follow-up once I’m back. I’m wondering whether the typed message continues the same conversation naturally or whether the switch between voice and text can lose context.

Has anyone used **Grok Voice follow-ups** this way? I’m especially interested in whether it remembers details from the spoken exchange or if you find yourself restating the question.
