# How reliable is Grok at reading chart labels and scales from an image?

Has anyone tested Grok with screenshots of charts rather than clean data tables? I’m wondering whether it can distinguish a truncated axis from a zero-based one, read small tick labels, and avoid drawing a confident conclusion from a blurry image.

I have a few dashboard screenshots where the legend and axis labels are cramped. Is Grok useful for a first-pass explanation, or do you find it’s better to provide the underlying values alongside the image?
