# Can Perplexity exclude certain sources by default across searches?

I use Perplexity for research in an area where a handful of content-farm sites keep appearing in results. I can skip them manually, but it gets tedious when I’m asking several related questions.

Is there a setting for **persistent source exclusions**, or do source preferences have to be repeated in each prompt? I’m also curious whether excluding a domain changes the citations in follow-up questions or only the current search.
