# Does the DeepSeek API expose log probabilities for generated tokens?

I’m looking at ways to compare candidate outputs from DeepSeek in an evaluation pipeline. Does the API return token-level log probabilities, or is that information unavailable for the models and endpoints currently offered?

If it is supported, I’d also like to know whether the values are useful for ranking alternatives in practice, or mainly intended for specialized analysis.
