# Does Grok pick up edits or deletions to X posts right away?

When I ask Grok about a post on X, I’m not sure whether the answer reflects the post as it appears now or an earlier version that was already indexed. This matters when a post has been edited to correct a detail, or removed after people have started discussing it.

Has anyone compared Grok’s response before and after an edit or deletion? I’m curious about how quickly changes show up, and whether the answer makes it clear when **[an edited X post](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/162477/can-grok-tell-whether-an-x-post-was-edited-after-it-was-published)** may be involved rather than the current version.
