# How do you keep Claude’s terminology consistent when translating a long technical document in sections?

I’m translating a long technical manual with Claude, but sending it one section at a time can lead to small terminology shifts. A component may get one English name in the first chapter and a slightly different one later, even though the source uses the same term throughout.

What have you found useful for keeping a **technical glossary** consistent across separate translation requests? Do you maintain a glossary in the prompt, provide earlier translated passages, or use another workflow? I’d like to hear what works without making every request unwieldy.
