# Does OpenAI vision preserve image order when several photos are sent together?

I’m building a workflow where a user can attach several photos to one message—for example, before-and-after shots or a sequence of steps. Does the model reliably treat the **image order** as meaningful, or should an app label each photo explicitly in the text?

If you’ve tested **multiple images in one message**, I’d be interested to hear whether ordering made a difference in your results.
