# Are Grok’s X trends a useful signal of customer sentiment?

I’m considering using Grok to get a quick read on what people are saying about a product launch on X. My concern is that a burst of highly active accounts—or one post that gets shared repeatedly—could look like broad customer sentiment when it isn’t.

How do you use Grok’s summaries or trend observations without treating engagement as a representative sample? Are there particular caveats you include when reporting a **customer sentiment signal** drawn from social posts?
