# Can Claude compare two contract drafts without losing the clause structure?

I’m considering using Claude to review [two versions](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/34125/how-do-you-compare-last-modified-time-between-two-versions-of-a-file) of a long contract and point out substantive changes. The documents have numbered clauses and nested sections, so a summary that blurs which wording belongs to which version wouldn’t be very useful.

Has anyone tried this with full drafts? I’d like to know how well Claude identifies removed or rewritten clauses while keeping the numbering and surrounding context clear.
