# Does Grok distinguish original reporting from repeated claims in search results?

When I ask Grok about a developing story, I sometimes see the same claim repeated across several posts and articles. I’m not sure whether the answer is drawing on independent reporting or treating all those copies as separate confirmation.

Is there a good way to get Grok to distinguish an **original source from reposts** or syndicated coverage? I’d also like to hear how people check this when search results are mostly social posts.
