# What happens to a custom GPT when its creator leaves a ChatGPT workspace?

Our team has a few custom GPTs that people rely on, but they were created under individual employee accounts. If one of those employees leaves the workspace, do the GPTs stay available to the team, or can access and editing rights disappear with the creator’s account?

I’m especially interested in how workspace admins can transfer or manage custom GPT ownership before that becomes a problem.
