# Which DeepSeek model licenses allow commercial fine-tuning?

I’m comparing DeepSeek models for a project that may involve [commercial use](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2540/focus-on-navic-and-isros-future-satellites-commercial-use-to-obtain-more-frequency) and LoRA fine-tuning. The licensing details seem like something that could vary by model or checkpoint, so I don’t want to assume the terms for one release apply to another.

Where do you check the current license for a specific DeepSeek release, and do the terms address distributing fine-tuned weights as well as using them internally?
