# Can I control whether X activity personalizes Grok’s answers?

I use Grok for questions that have nothing to do with my X feed, and I’m curious how much my account activity affects what it shows me. Is there a setting to limit **X activity personalization** in Grok’s answers while keeping the account connected?

I’m not asking about deleting my X history or turning off every personalized feature. I’d like to know what controls are available, whether they differ between Grok on X and the standalone app, and how anyone has verified the setting is actually taking effect.
