# What can collaborators actually do in a shared Perplexity Space?

I’m considering using a Perplexity Space for a small project with people outside my organization. Before inviting them, I’d like to understand what sharing means in practice: can collaborators only view the research, or can they add sources and change the Space too?

I’m particularly interested in **Perplexity Space sharing permissions** and whether access can be limited or revoked cleanly later. If you’ve shared a Space with a mix of editors and viewers, what should I check before sending invitations?
