# Does Grok remember useful details across separate chats, and can I control that?

I’m trying to understand how Grok handles personalization between chats. If I mention a preference or a [project detail](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/102577/can-you-detail-the-functions-of-googles-project-wing-for-drone-delivery) in one conversation, should I expect it to affect later replies, or does that depend on a setting or account feature?

For anyone using it regularly: where can you see what Grok has retained, and is there a straightforward way to clear or disable that information? I’m interested in the actual controls, not just whether replies sometimes feel personalized.
