# Can Grok treat X posts as leads rather than evidence?

When I ask Grok about a developing story, I’d like it to use X posts as pointers to what people are discussing, not treat every post as confirmed evidence. Is there a way to get it to **treat X posts as leads** and lean on independent reporting or primary sources for factual claims?

I’m interested in how well that distinction holds up in practice, especially when a post is widely shared but hard to verify.
