# Does Perplexity compare technical standards across different versions accurately?

I’m comparing technical requirements that have changed between releases of a standard. Perplexity can find relevant pages, but I’m unsure how well it keeps the version dates and exact wording straight when older and newer documents are both indexed.

Has anyone used it to compare **versioned documentation** without mixing requirements from different editions? I’d be interested in what sources or prompt details helped you check the results.
