# Can Claude spot meaningful UI regressions between two screenshots?

I’m curious whether Claude can be useful for reviewing before-and-after screenshots from a web app. The goal wouldn’t be to report every pixel difference; I want to know if it can call out changes a user would actually notice, like a button moving, clipped text, or a missing panel.

For anyone using it this way, how do you provide the screenshots and describe the expected changes? Does it reliably distinguish a genuine visual regression from harmless shifts caused by rendering or viewport differences?
