# Does Claude Projects keep useful context across separate chats?

I’m considering using Claude Projects for work that spans several separate chats: one thread for research, another for drafting, and a third for review. How well does **project knowledge across chats** carry over in practice?

I know shared files and project instructions can be available, but I’m wondering whether Claude reliably applies details established in one conversation to another, or whether I should restate important decisions each time.
