# Can Grok summarize an X thread without counting reposts as separate evidence?

When a claim spreads quickly on X, a long thread can contain a lot of reposts and near-identical comments alongside a few posts that add actual evidence. Has anyone tested whether Grok can summarize that kind of thread without making repeated versions of the same claim sound like independent confirmation?

I’m interested in how it distinguishes **reposts from independent evidence**, especially when the original post is being quoted with added context or disagreement. If you’ve tried this on a breaking story or a technical discussion, what did the summary get right or miss?
