# Would you upload confidential work documents to Grok?

I’m considering using Grok to summarize a few internal documents, but I’m not sure where to draw the line with material that isn’t public. Do you check its data-handling terms before uploading, or avoid sharing anything that could identify a client, colleague, or project?

I’m interested in how people make that call in practice, especially when the convenience of asking questions about a document is tempting but the contents are sensitive.
