# How useful is Perplexity for researching products in a specific country?

I’m comparing a few products that are common in one country but barely discussed in English-language reviews. Perplexity seems convenient for gathering sources, but I’m unsure whether its search results give enough weight to local retailers, publications, and regional product names.

For **regional supplier research**, have you found that changing the query language or naming local sites makes a noticeable difference? I’d especially like to hear how people check whether the sources actually reflect the market they’re researching rather than just repeating broad international coverage.
