# How Do You Attribute Shared Services Costs Across AWS Accounts?

Our AWS organization has a central account for services used by several product teams—things like CI runners, monitoring, and shared networking. The bill is easy to see at the account level, but that doesn’t tell us which teams are driving the costs.

How are you allocating **shared services account costs** in a way that stays understandable month to month? Do you split by usage metrics, apply fixed percentages, or leave some central costs unallocated rather than imply a level of precision you don’t have?
