# What Is the 3:5:8 Flower Rule & Which Flowers Shouldn’t Be Mixed?

The 3:5:8 flower rule is a ratio of flowers in a bouquet, where 3 stand for focal flowers, 5 – for the greenery or filler flowers, and 8 – for the stems of filler or extra flowers. Depending on the bouquet’s size and shape, the ratio can be changed.
