It is a process that focuses on finding out what exact words or question people are typing into Google when they are searching for information related to their queries. It helps you use the same words your audience is using so that search engines like Google can connect them to your content.

4. You can see trends; with the right words you can see what people are searching for and not running in circles guessing on what direction I should focus on.\ \
5. Ranking higher also brings in organic traffic (the number of people whose visiting your page off of search engines like google organically without clicking the ads) which is also good for your site, and it decreases your bounce rate (how involved visitors are to a web page)
