As of my last knowledge update in January 2023, .NET 6 was the latest major release, bringing numerous features and improvements to the .NET ecosystem. Keep in mind that there may be more recent releases or updates. Here are some key features and improvements introduced in .NET 6:

#### 1. Single Platform Model:

- .NET 6 introduced a unified platform model, allowing developers to use a single project file to target multiple platforms, simplifying the development process.

#### 2. .NET MAUI (Multi-platform App UI):

- .NET MAUI enables the development of cross-platform applications for iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS with a single codebase. It combines Xamarin.Forms and .NET MAUI into a single framework for building native apps.

#### 3. Minimal APIs:

- Minimal APIs provide a more concise syntax for building web APIs, reducing the amount of boilerplate code typically associated with API development.

#### 4. ASP.NET Core Improvements:
