# How do you set two primary keys in access?

hi [friends](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/31396/where-did-the-suggest-to-friends-feature-go) i am a junior [developer](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/157260/variation-between-web-designer-and-web-developer) i have assigned a [project](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/105927/how-to-excel-at-managing-multiple-projects) by my [team leader](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/157606/how-can-you-effectively-handle-a-bulk-team-of-employees-under-you-as-a-team-leader). in this project use ms [access database](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/385/access-database-datatype-problem) and i need to set two column [primary keys](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/30985/what-are-primary-keys-and-foreign-keys) in a table . please help me any one .

Add a two field as a [primary](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/33739/difference-between-primary-key-and-unique-key) key

**1.** Open [MS Access](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96635/explain-about-the-various-features-present-in-ms-access) and select the Blank Desktop [database](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12226/use-of-database-in-sencha-extjs-and-insert-record-from-user-form-using-ajax).

**2.** After clicking the Blank Desktop database a popup will be open.

**3.** In the Navigation Pane, right-click the table and click Design View.

**4.** Now select two-column to which you want to add the primary key and click the primary key button.
