# Mobile Cloud Computing

[Cloud Computing](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12172/programming-cloud-computing-driven-by-scientific-theory-viewpoints-challenges) offers such smartphones that have rich Internet media experience and require less processing, less power.

In term of Mobile Cloud Computing, processing is done in the cloud, data is stored in the cloud. And the [mobile devices](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/85524/influence-of-mobile-devices-on-travel-and-tourism-experiences) serve as a media for display.

Today smartphones are employed with rich [cloud services](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/34516/cloud-services) by integrating applications that consume [web services](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/942/basics-of-asp-dot-net-web-services). These web services are deployed in the cloud.

There are several Smartphone [operating systems](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/332551/operating-systems-trends-and-innovations-in-2023) available such as Google's Android, Apple's iOS, RIM BlackBerry, Symbian, and Windows [Mobile Phone](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/95862/mobile-phone-technology-has-revolutionized-the-marketing-industry). Each of these platforms supports third-party applications that are deployed in the cloud.

Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) includes four types of cloud resources:\

1. Distant mobile cloud

2. Distant immobile cloud

4. Proximate immobile computing entries

5. Hybrid

##### Mobile communication congestion

Due to continuous increasing demand for mobile cloud services, the workload to enable smooth communication between cloud and mobile devices has been increased.
