# Need for Speed coming to Android

EA has announced that Need for [Speed](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/92778/let-s-know-the-fastest-train-speed-design-and-name) Shift is coming to [Android](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13046/10-reasons-why-i-prefer-android-vs-iphone-ios), and will be released on June 4; the same day as the Sprint Evo 4G.

There’s really not a whole lot of other details to share at this point you can see at [app store](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2221/apple-s-new-ad-tax-on-the-app-store-is-a-clear-jab-at-meta) reviews. Their other [games](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13085/the-most-famous-casino-games) on Android (Spore Origins, The Sims 3, Tetris and Bejeweled) have only been decent, so hopefully they’ve stepped up with a solid [title](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12860/how-to-get-financing-for-salvage-title-cars) this time.

I would expect this game will require a fairly new [device](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/149/retriving-network-device-information-in-c-sharp) (Nexus, Incredible, Evo, etc), but it’s possibly they’ve built it to [scale](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/304762/boost-seo-with-ai-and-automation-scale-and-increase-revenue) back to some older [devices](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/301912/how-smart-devices-are-changing-our-lives) as well. We’ll post more [news](https://www.mindstick.com/developersection/news) when we learn anything.
