# Apache Server Installation on Windows

Let’s we have some snapshot on how to install ‘Apache’ web server in windows 7 operating system.

Step (a): Download Apache web server from mention above link, and save it into [your computer](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13023/choosing-the-best-power-cord-for-your-computer-a-layman-s-guide).

Step (b): Double click on Apache window installer package and click button ‘Next’

Step (c): Select ‘I accept the term in license [agreement](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/88513/what-to-look-for-in-a-retainer-agreement-with-defence-lawyers-in-dubai)’ and [click button](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/34274/how-to-pass-combobox-value-from-windows-form-edirrow-to-windows-form-form1-where-click-button) ‘Next’

Step (d): Read about ‘Apache’ web server and click button ‘Next’

Step (e): Enter ‘localhost’ in Network Domain and [Server Name](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/110129/how-to-change-discord-server-name) field, and ‘[webmaster@localhost.com](mailto:webmaster@localhost.com)’ (You may enter your original email id) email id in Administrator [Email Address](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/159727/how-can-i-validate-an-email-address-in-javascript) field.

Step (f): Select option ‘Typical’ and click button ‘Next’

Step (g): Browse [directory](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/226/how-to-get-application-directory-using-c-sharp-csharp) where want to install ‘Apache’ server

Step (h): click on button ‘Install’

When Apache server installed successfully then a console window appear which shows that Apache web server successfully installed.

Click ‘Finish’ button to close wizard.

Now you can start Apache server by clicking Start->All Programs-> Apache HTTP Server 2.2->Control Apache Server-> Start

Now Apache Server will be started with all services.
